Who we are...

We are a blue collar facility with a primary objective of getting results. We are not a gym! The distinction between Virtus and a "corporate gym" is evident from the minute you walk through our door. We train you to execute real world movements under heavier loads, longer distance, with greater intensity.

We are not here to conform to any one way of training. The tools, methods, and philosophies we use may be considered abstract to those that belong to the main stream gym. We have no machines, mirrors, or air conditioning. We change our workouts daily and work the full body every time you train. We think outside the box and pride ourselves on being different. We have no problems changing our methods if it can be proven that there is something better.

We fly with a bit of moxy but keep our egos grounded. Group training is the preferred way here at Virtus. It is a sight to behold when a group of individuals get together and push through the mental and physical anguish to achieve one relative goal. The Virtus classes have developed into a brotherhood creating a high energy atmosphere and an understanding that each member is an important pillar in this foundation. We will not tolerate ignorance or poor attitudes.

 

Is this for me...

The program design at Virtus is designed to challenge you with somthing new every day. One of our philosophies is rest when needed work when you can. The fitness level of each individual is different, so go at your own pace. From the hardcore athlete to a beginner in fitness you can do this. The programs are designed in a way that nobody gets slowed down.

 

 

 

 

We are not here to make
outrageous claims!

We will not guarantee that you will lose thirty pounds in thirty days. We will not guarantee that this is going to be easy. What we will say is that if you stick to your goals and stay committed you will see results. Our methods have been proven. We have seen some impressive gains and losses both within ourselves and clients. I have seen a house wife execute a perfect Olympic Snatch (Clarissa), we have witnessed an athlete who could not accomplish seven pull-up's day one, then two months later crank out one hundred (Jimmy). These individuals wanted it; they made no excuses and got to work. I am proud to be friends with everyone that trains at Virtus because I know what you feel every time you come through our door.
